Additional benefits- protection

Added benefits - protection

Often, providers will add additional benefits to your cover. These can sometimes be added as a bonus at no extra cost, or some are optional, with additional costs. Having additional benefits added to your protection cover can help to provide reassurance and support, should you ever encounter an unexpected life event.

There are many benefits that you might not be aware of which you can add to your protection cover scheme. We’ve asked Kaitlin Charlton, Mortgage and Protection Advisor to outline some benefits, and to explain how the additional benefit can benefit you!

Take it away Kaitlin…

Life is full of surprises. Unfortunately, sometimes this can mean there can be a change of events, meaning your life and routine can be impacted.

It’s always good to have additional benefits added to your protection scheme, so you can be prepared for the worst, just in case! Below are some benefits that I would recommend adding to your protection cover, so you can have peace of mind, and know that you are prepared, should anything happen.

Wellbeing supports

This allows you to have access to a dedicated nurse to speak about personal and emotional situations during your cover term.

Private Diagnostics

This service gives you access to consultants across the UK for diagnostic testing, providing results within weeks of the test being completed.

Fracture Cover

Utilising this cover protects you against certain injuries, and can cover multiple claims per year. For this cover, you will receive a lump sum, depending on the injury severity and if you meet the specified injury.

Global Treatment

Global treatment gives you reassurance that if yourself or your child becomes seriously ill, you are able to be treated across the world by leading medical experts.

24-hour medical expertise

You can have access to medical advice from the comfort of your own home. The medical advice is for yourself, your partner and children, and is valid from the day your protection cover starts.

Mental Health Support

Mental health support helps to provide prevention and early intervention treatment. This cover can include, but not limited to therapy sessions, cover for outpatient, in patient and day patient treatment if needed.
